After a horrible Game 3 LeBron James picked up his game big time in Game 4. James finished with 33 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. One of those blocks came on Spurs big man Tim Duncan.
Late in the 3rd quarter Manu Ginobili drove the lane and threw a no look behind the head pass to Duncan. It looked like Duncan was going to have a wide open dunk. However, James came up of nowhere to block Duncan’s shot. After the block James picked up the ball and led the Heat on a fast break. Check it out below.

LeBron James is trying to make a statement ahead of Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Following a disappointing Game 3 performance in which James went 7-for-21 and did not attempt a free throw in a 113-77 blowout loss to the San Antonio Spurs, the Miami Heat star draped a red practice jersey around his [...]
Ask any comic book guy who would win in a battle between Batman and Superman.
The overwhelming majority would pick Batman, even though Superman is the alien with infinite power. Why do you think they would do that?
The reason is simple, brains can still beat brawn if the person with the brains is smart enough. Batman unlike almost every other superhero has no special powers. Even...
LeBron James scored 15 points playing with the aggression and ferocity that everyone expects of the four-time MVP, and the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs went into halftime tied 49-49 in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night.
James scored 11 points in the first quarter and also had four rebounds to rally the Heat back from a 10-point first quarter deficit. Dwyane Wade added...
During game one of the NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat. 2KSports debuted a commercial featuring Steve Kerr of NBATV and LeBron James of the Miami Heat. It was a teaser for the next installment of the 2KSports most popular gaming franchise, NBA2K. The upcoming version is NBA2K14 which will feature LeBron James on the cover. Or so the commercial made it...
SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- David Robinson was 37 years old when he rode off into the NBA sunset with a fresh Lawrence O'Brien trophy under his arm and his legacy as the greatest player in San Antonio Spurs history firmly intact.
It's been 10 years since Robinson left his team in the hands of Tim Duncan and a couple of precocious and unpredictable young guards named Tony Parker...
Sure, at the end of the night, the Miami Heat walked out of AT&T Center with a huge 109-93 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA Finals to tie the series at two games apiece. And while each member of the Big Three had monster games (LeBron James: 33 [...]The post D-Wade’s purse, LeBron’s camo and Bosh goes nerd chic for Game 4 (pics/vid) appeared first on Sportress...
LeBron James scored 33 points while playing with the aggression
and ferocity that everyone expects of the four-time MVP, leading
the Miami Heat to a 109-93 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on
Thursday night that evened the NBA Finals at two games apiece.
Chael Sonnen is a bad man. He has gone toe to toe with some of the toughest men in the world; he hasn't always won, but he survived. In my book when you can do that you have to be pretty dang tough.
So when the man talks--I'm going to listen.
Recently when making an appearance on The Jim Rome Show he went off on a little tangent about LeBron James that while PG was...
SAN ANTONIO (AP) Even after winning 27 in a row during the regular season, the Miami Heat don't want to rely on a three-game winning streak now.
Not against a team as good as the San Antonio Spurs.
The Spurs can take a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals on Thursday, which would move the Heat to the verge of something much bigger than just another finals failure.
Lose this series, and...
SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- At their best in the NBA Finals, the Miami Heat have forced turnover after turnover, finding a gear the San Antonio Spurs just can't reach.
Play in Game 5 as they have during their two easy victories in the series, and LeBron James' defending champs will head home just one win away from another title.
But Miami's best hasn't been carrying over...
- Since the 2-3-2 in the NBA Finals, the winner of Game 3 has won the series 92 % of the time (12-1). The Heat beat the Mavericks in 2011 but lost the series.
- The Spurs made 16 three pointers in Game 3 a NBA Finals record
- Danny Green 16 made three pointers are most of any Spurs player in the NBA Finals
- The 36 point loss by the Heat in Game 3 is the worst in Heat postseason...
This is the third installment of NBA Entertainment’s behind the scenes look at the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs, and three things jumped out at me.
1. Tim Duncan’s truly woeful wardrobe.
2. Ray Allen and Chris Bosh’s pre-game speech didn’t have the same impact as Dwyane Wade’s gem from Game 2.
3. Greg Popovich’s hilariously calm and sarcastic...
