LeBron James has been remarkably active on social media amid the NBA’s ongoing hiatus to pass the time during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar’s antics during his quarantine have been a welcome distraction during these uncertain times, along with his inspirational acts as well.

On Monday night, James did what many others have been doing to occupy themselves while stuck at home by engaging in a video chat. For James, it was to catch up with some of his former high school teammates. The Lakes star took to Instagram to share a screenshot of the virtual conversation.

To no surprise, James has remained close with his former teammates at St. Vincent-St. Mary in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, a squad that won three state titles during its dominant prep sports run.

Several members of the team reunited just last year to reminisce about their high school glory years in Cleveland.

While the crew forged a remarkable bond that has lasted well over a decade, there has been at least one instance where James had an amusing disagreement with one of his former teammates over a yearbook-based slight.

In the end, it appears the St. Vincent-St. Mary crew will remain lifelong pals, and there’s obviously no time like the present to catch up with old friends.
