PLAYERS: LeBron James
TEAMS: Miami Heat
There is no way to stop LeBron James in the court. That is, unless you sequester him and threaten him with contempt if he fails to follow the judge's instructions. Oh, you thought I meant the other court. No. Not today at least. LeBron James had to take a day off of his offseason training/whatever it is LeBron James does in the offseason on Thursday to perform his civic duty. LeBron James was called for jury duty in Akron, Ohio. Wonder what happened when the venire popped out James' name and the clerk of court had to send that letter out? I am sure there were plenty of people hoping to stick James in some boring tax case that would take weeks to resolve. Ohio's revenge aside, James was not selected for the jury. He was on his couch watching Celtics/Lakers reruns from 1986 on NBATV six hours later. Watching 87 Finals between Lakers/Celtics. So much post work out there(Worthy, Jabaar, Magic, Bird, Parrish, McHale). Notes taking #Legends — LeBron James (@Ki...

LeBron James Allegedly With Mistress During Bachelor Party Weekend

LeBron James seems to have understated how large of a spotlight he is under during his latest Facebook rant. Yesterday a woman, who just so happened to be at the same party as LeBron in Toronto, took to his fiance Savannah’s Instagram to “warn her” about LeBron’s sneaky ways. Let’s take a step back for a second and assess the situation. Common sense says that a women that...

James does jury duty, but no trials develop

LeBron James' court time Thursday had nothing to do with basketball. James was back in his hometown for jury duty, though the Miami Heat star never had the chance to serve as a juror. The NBA's MVP posted a photo of himself on social media Thursday morning with the caption: ''Jury duty time. Time to serve my civic duty.'' James arrived at the Summit County...

LeBron James Selected for Jury Duty (Photo)

I get the feeling he won’t make it to the trial, but it would be funny if he did. LeBron deciding the fate of someone who broke into a liquor store would give that particular case a lot of attention. The King tweeted out his jury duty attire (photo above) he isn’t going for the professional look. Jury duty time. Time to serve my civic duty http://t.co/7OgkVM74Er — LeBron James...

LeBron James, pumped for jury duty, posts selfie to commemorate moment (pic)

Yes, it’s the NBA offseason. And that means when LeBron James posts a selfie in order to document that he has been tabbed for jury duty, it’s news. Well, it’s somewhat news. LeBron James Ecstatic About Being Selected For Jury Duty (Photo)

LeBron James was selected for jury duty for the first time in his life, and he took to Instagram of course, to show the world just how excited he was. I don’t necessarily think “King James,” will spend one minute in trial, but at least he was selected. Jury duty time. Time to serve my civic duty http://t.co/7OgkVM74Er — LeBron James (@KingJames) August 8, 2013

LeBron James says he’s Still Getting Better (VIDEO)

It’s hard to imagine the best player in the world getting better, but LeBron claims that he is. The 4-time MVP visited the Philippines to expand the NBA brand. What he said while over there is something that should frighten the rest of the league.

Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant Continue to Have Eerie Similarities in Playing Styles (Video)

Well before the useless comparisons between Michael Jordan and LeBron James — seriously, they have almost nothing in common aside from being really good at basketball — there were much more valid comparisons of Jordan and Kobe Bryant. Unlike Jordan and James, Jordan and Bryant played the same position, were roughly the same size and had similar playing styles. They also have...
