LeBron James' three straight performances of 30 or more points in Miami Heat wins powered the forward to Eastern Conference player of the week honors, the NBA announced Monday.
James has earned player of the week honors a league-record 44 times, 18 times as a member of the Heat.
He averaged a league-best 34.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists while shooting 70.2 percent from the field, 62.5 percent from three-point range and 81 percent from the foul line in the week ending Nov. 17.
James led the Heat in scoring in wins against Milwaukee, Dallas and at Charlotte. His three consecutive 30-point games marks his longest streak since scoring 30-plus in a franchise-best seven consecutive games last February 3-14.
James also has scored in double-figures a career-high 505 consecutive games, including a team-record 227 with Miami.
