Iowa State’s Marcus Fizer is headed back to Israel, where he’s signed with Maccabi Ashdod. Fizer played with Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv in 2008-09. The former Cyclone had spent the last two seasons playing in Puerto Rico. Last season, in 11 games last season with the Guanabo Mets, Fizer averaged 13 points and nearly seven rebounds a game. This probably isn’t where Fizer expected his career to be in 2010 after being the fourth overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft by the Bulls. Marcus Fizer profile
