The rookie impressed veteran Spurs coach Greg Popovich. "He's a wonderful player. His skills are obvious, but I like his demeanor as ...
BEST OF MAXIM
OFF THE GLASS
Arguably one of the best NBA points guards in the 2000's, Spurs guard Tony Parker showed off his usual flair for the dramatic in the fourth quarter of San Antonio's game against the Boston Celtics last night. Watch as Tony P gets to the rack and somehow uses the top of the backboard to get his circus shot to fall:

Blazers are who we thought they were
With a quarter of the NBA season behind us, we’re looking back and recapping the biggest contributors—and disappointments—for the 10-12 Trail Blazers so far.
MVP: LaMarcus Aldridge
Despite a lack of consistent play and physicality, it’s impossible to deny Aldridge’s contributions to this team.
L.A. is averaging 21.0 points per game ...
SAN ANTONIO -- With Manu Ginobili out hurt and Tim Duncan struggling, the San Antonio Spurs turned to Tony Parker and a tested bench to get them a win. They produced in convincing style. Parker had 22 points and eight assists to lead the Spurs to a 103-88 win over the Boston Celtics Saturday night at the AT&T Center. The 12th-year guard was 8-of-14 from the field and 5...
The San Antonio Spurs have always been thought of as that grind-it-out team. That team that methodically breaks down defenses with its passing and low post play. Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili have long been able to slither their way through defenses and Duncan was just a point guard in a post's body with the way he could break down defenses with his post moves and the pass. ...

Celtics drop their 2nd game in a row-tonight they lose to the Spurs in San Antonio, 103-88. This was basically more of the same from Boston tonight: turnovers, poor defense and the inability to make shots when it mattered.
