Found May 24, 2013 on Orlando Magic Daily:
The 2001-04 seasons were both incredibly breathtaking for the Magic and incredibly frustrating. On one hand, Tracy McGrady was arguably the best wing player in the league, finishing high in MVP voting, perenially starting the All-Star Game and scoring at will as he led the league in scoring for two years in a Magic uniform. For Magic fans, going to the stadium to see McGrady meant the possibility of seeing something special at any moment and being in the presence of greatness -- a home-grown greatness too after McGrady was a sixth man type player in Toronto. On the other hand, there was a team that could not get its act together and do much in the Playoffs. Grant HIll was constantly injured and the organization constantly shuffled players in and out without any semblance of consistency trying to survive for a year. The Magic were smack dab in the middle of the league and just barely in the Playoffs just about every year. Getting out of the first round, even with a player...

Tim Duncan Will Also End This It was obvious how this one was going to play out: the Grizz, desperate for the game and back at home after the big comeback fell short in Game 2, were going to win. They were going to ride the emotion and the home crowd to a big early lead (29-13 after the first quarter), stave off a comeback, and go wire to wire. Maybe they'd get a mess of calls...

Spurs showing Grizzlies they're out of their league

So you took the Spurs to overtime. Twice, even. That must have felt good, that fleeting moment when beating the San Antonio Spurs seemed like a realistic proposition. We've all had that feeling. Maybe you were in high school and fouled off a couple pitches from the kid who got drafted. Maybe you were in college got a number from somebody out of your league. Remember that time...

Conley: Parker's playmaking puts defense 'at its mercy'

The first two games served as a reminder that the Spurs' offense is a Tony Parker first offense and that when he's aggressive, it's a really good offense.  Game 2 was a prime example of how Parker, despite having a dreadful shooting night, stayed aggressive and found his teammates on his way to 18 assists.  Memphis Grizzlies guard Mike Conley, Jr. said after the game...

Why was it the worst start according to Popovich? In the first quarter, his starters came out unfocused and committed...

Ginobili: Grizzlies' late-game rally might inspire them in Game 3

It took seven quarters, in which the Spurs outscored Memphis by 34 points, but the Grizzlies may have found a viable solution against San Antonio's pack-the-paint strategy -- spread the floor with Jerryd Bayless and Quincy Pondexter to make them pay for doubling Zach Randolph in the post.   Another fortuitous circumstance -- the nominally foul-averse Tim Duncan, averaging...
