THE FIELDHOUSE - The suspense over the starting shooting guard and center position is about to end.
Pacers coach Jim O'Brien hasn't pulled out his permanent marker yet, but he's closed to doing it when it comes to naming his starting center and shooting guard.
O'Brien said before Friday's easy victory over Houston that Roy Hibbert and Brandon Rush have the inside track on the starting center and shooting guard spots, respectively.
Here's what O'Brien said about Rush:
"He's got the inside track because he shoots the basketball well. He has experience."
Here's O'Brien's comments on Hibbert:
"I think it's going to be hard to beat out Roy at the center spot because of his experience with us. He's by far our best low-post offensive player."
