That NBA Lottery Pick:
It’s not often that an NBA organization gives away a bobblehead of a former owner but that’s exactly what the Los Angeles Lakers are doing tonight.
Before the start of tonight’s game against the Indiana Pacers, fans attending the game at Staples Center will receive a Jerry Buss bobblehead.
Check out a photo of the bobblehead courtesy of ESPN Radio LA’s Beto Duran:

The Los Angeles D-Fenders continue to make good moves.
Today, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Lakers’ D-League affiliate, the D-Fenders, agreed to a deal with Shawne Williams.
The Lakers waived Williams earlier this month before his contract became fully guaranteed.
Before being cut by the team, Williams was averaging 5.2 points and 4.5 rebounds in 20.2 minutes...

Any National Basketball Association fan remembers what Jeremy Lin did two years ago for the Knicks, but the real question is: “did you believe in ‘Linsanity?’” He broke Shaq’s record by scoring 136 points in his first five career starts and undoubtedly helped Time Warner Cable and MSG finalize their deal, but none of that seemed...

Kendall Marshall’s got jokes. If you don’t already follow this guy on Twitter, get on it.
Last night, Marshall posted yet another funny tweet as he poked fun at his own shooting form.
“Stop askin me how to shoot with me in [NBA 2K14],” Marshall wrote. “I don’t know, I’m still tryin to figure it out in real life.”
From his first game in L.A....
As expected, the Pacers improved upon their league-best record, and the Lakers lost for the 17th time in their last 20 games.
What wasn’t expected was that this game between one of the league’s best and one of the league’s worst teams would be tied 49-49 at half-time. But the Pacers’ vaunted defense emerged from the locker-room after half-time, and held the Lakers to just...
The Lakers, who have been riddled with injuries at point guard, expected veteran Steve Nash to practice Monday. But that plan was pushed back when Nash tweaked his back getting out of bed in the morning.
"I'm fine," said Nash later in the day. He last played Nov. 10 and has played in only six games this season, while battling through nerve damage in his back and hamstring...
Tweet Paul George‘s highlight-reel caliber season continued Tuesday night when George pulling off a slick behind the back move to free himself up for a two-handed dunk against the Lakers. Watch: George struggled from the field while playing back in his native Southern California (George went to high school in nearby Palmdale) but the Pacers were still...
Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant's return to the court will not occur for at least three weeks, the team announced Tuesday night.
Bryant recently said he would return from a knee injury by the All-Star Game on Feb. 16 but that he would allow someone more deserving to play for the Western Conference team after he was voted in. He has played just six games this season.
Kendall Marshall nails an impressive trick shot, a halfcourter while sitting down, to wrap up Lakers shoot around before they host the Pacers Tuesday night:

I have nothing but respect for Steve Nash the basketball player and club hopper, but it is time to hang em up chief.
In latest ridiculous injury twist for @SteveNash, he was set to come to noon Lakers practice–except tweaked his back this morning at home.

Magic Johnson is one for NBA great that doesn’t shy away from Twitter, and it might get him in a bit of trouble with some Los Angeles Lakers fan, after he failed to mention Kobe Bryant on a short list of NBA greats. Like the rest of us, Magic is really impressed with Keven Durant’s […]Continue reading...
Breaking news! Kobe Bryant is injured. No one has been talking about this. And in a further Razzball exclusive – he’s old. Not exactly the best combo coming back from a major injury, followed by another pretty bad one just a few games back. After a re-examination, apparently the knee bone still isn’t connected to the leg bone, so let’s call the whole thing off!...
Magic Johnson loves getting attention for whatever his take on the current on the current state of the Los Angeles Lakers. His latest was on ‘The Tonight Show.’
