There hasn’t been much hype around the Los Angeles Lakers as of late, as they are sitting at just 16-12 on the season, which, although better than most teams, is pretty disappointing for a team that expects to be great every season. But the small amount of hype that has been around Laker land has been the possibility of signing free-agent guard Gilbert Arenas. Arenas held a private workout last Sunday and a few teams, including the Lakers, were in attendance. There have been many debates about whether or not this would be a good move for theLakers as Arenas has had his history of off the court problems and had a horrible season last year.
But Kobe Bryant recently gave his approval of the possible move, and with Lakers officials attending Arenas’ private workout it would seem that the Lakers are very interested in signing Arenas, right?
