PLAYERS: J.R. Smith
TEAMS: New York Knicks
Remember last year when Knicks star JR Smith tweeted out a photo of urban model and “Love & Hip-hop NY’s” Tahiry Jose’s cheeks? Well Tahiry is talking about her time with JR and said that moment was the beginning of the end with him. She also admits that she was really sad (in tears actually) when the two broke up and yes, Twitter is what broke them up per her.   Tahiry said she felt it was a shot at Joe Budden when he put that photo out. She also says JR was probably excited because he actually had her there with him. Tahiry’s time frame of their “situationship” is a little off though, she said they were dating for about 3 months. JR got back from China in February. He also was still seeing his girlfriend Britanie Girard when he got back – she was with him in China, remember when she and his sister had a fight in the stands? Plus, JR tweeted that photo March 9th from Milwaukee… But you know, maybe it felt like three months. Any woman that dates JR should expect for a lot of t...

How Iman Shumpert’s Return Will Impact the Knicks

The Knicks have not yet had their expected lineup healthy at the same time this season; Amar’e Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert started the season injured and injuries throughout the season have caused other roadblocks. Right when Stoudemire returned, Raymond Felton then went down with a broken pinkie on his left hand, leaving the Knicks again short-handed at times in the back-court...

Toughness is the Knicks Achilles

As we approach the halfway point of the NBA season and the looming trade deadline grows closer, the New York Knicks are 25-13. We’ll see if a move is made, but New York doesn’t need shooting, veteran leadership, youth, or athletic ability. The Knicks need TOUGHNESS! Of those 13 losses, 7 of them have been against teams who simply beat the Knicks up for 4 quarters and were very...

Carmelo: 'I got an owner that looks out for me'

New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony believes team owner James Dolan was recording his conversations on the basketball court to look out for him. Carmelo Anthony: This Is The Best Team I’ve Been A Part Of

The Knicks flew back yesterday morning from England — with a band of players Carmelo Anthony believes is the best he ever has been a part of…. “By far,’’ Anthony said Thursday night in London when asked whether this is his strongest team. “I have been on good teams before. But as far as being a complete team from top to bottom, this is the best team I’ve been a part...

Iman Shumpert Returns for Knicks; Helps Defeat Pistons

Good news for the Knicks: They went into London, increased international popularity for the NBA, and won their game against the Pistons. Better news for the Knicks: Iman Shumpert was on the court for it. The energy and intensity that the Knicks got out of Iman Shumpert last year, especially towards the end of the season, helped the Knicks finish strong and make it to the playoffs...

Spike Lee Thinks The Knicks Should Be Africa’s Team And Mayo Is The Devil

Spike Lee is in London popping off about the Knicks now that he’s done messing up Oldboy. There’s no reason to remake that movie.* I don’t know how he found the time to do all of this in between telling us how Django Unchained isn’t worth seeing even though he hasn’t seen it. Apparently it’s an insult to our ancestors. I’m sorry. We didn’t cover that in the last black...
