Magic Bringing Back Admiral Schofield on Two-Way Deal
Sam Navarro-USA TODAY Sports

The Magic have re-signed forward Admiral Schofield to a two-way contract, agents Mark Bartelstein and George Roussakis told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Schofield, 26, appeared in 37 games with the Magic last season and 38 the year before that. His NBA career began with the Wizards in 2019-20, when he played 33 games.

The No. 49 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, Schofield carries career averages of 3.7 points and 1.8 rebounds. He has also spent plenty of time in the G League with the Lakeland Magic.

Orlando converted Schofield’s two-way deal to a standard contract in February, but he became a free agent at the start of July.

NBA teams are allowed to sign three two-way players for the first time this season. They previously had been allowed to carry two.
