Orlando Magic Daily:
Jacque Vaughn challenged his team at halftime, asking who was going to be the aggressor in Monday's game against the Timberwolves. Were the Magic going to step up to the plate and meet the physicality their opponents brought to them in the first half or would they allow Minnesota to dictate the pace, the score and the physicality of the game.
Orlando has not had to face many opponents who will be able to control the glass and bully the teamaround quite like Minnesota can wtih Kevin Love and Nikola Vucevic providing brute force in the paint. It seemed like the Timberwolves had worn down the Magic's patience and desire soem at the end of the second quarter. Glen Davis took a technical foul and the Magic gave up an 11-2 run in the final two minutes of the half to trail by 12 entering the locker room.
Something changed though. Vaughn's challenge to his team was answered.
Orlando became the aggressors, battling Pekovic and Love out of the paint and doing a better ...

ORLANDO - Magic forward Glen Davis just needed a little adversity to kick his game into high gear Monday night. It took a fourth personal foul, then getting knocked to the floor by Kevin Love early in the third period before Davis decided it was time to play, and he led the Magic through an inspired comeback and a 102-93 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Davis scored 28...
Ricky Rubio came back last night against the Mavericks and had 9 assists in only 18 minutes. Tonight he played 16 minutes and had 4 assists. The above GIF shows a nice between the legs pass to Kevin Love for the three ball (which he missed), and the video below shows a great pass between a couple defenders to Kevin Love for the layup (that he got fouled on). So basically neither...

High octane sporting events all have a few things in common: screaming fans, jock jams, and cheerleaders. In order to create the necessary level of showmanship and excitement at the Orlando Arena, it was imperative that an incredible squad of local talent be assembled. Jodie Pennington was a choreographer for the FSU Golden Girls. She was eventually hired to become the head of the...
Originally one of the minority owners, Pat Williams approached du Pont to ask him if he would be interested in stepping up from minority partner to general partner. Understanding the gravity of the situation, du Pont agreed. Later, it was revealed that the NBA didn’t want Williams to be involved as an owner and a general manager and that the board still wanted a majority operating...
"They tried to take it away from us!" Don't you EVER try taking anything from Glen Davis. I love this man's passion. This is what Jacque Vaughn should show in the locker room to fire the gang up! Just so much energy and fire coming from Glen Davis. I bet he could lace them up and play another 40 minutes after giving this interview.
"The refs didn...
