Last night, the Orlando Magic (14-24) upset the three-seeded Indiana Pacers (24-16), 97-86. Mid-way through the first quarter, the Magic went on a 32-8 run, sparked by a 3-point play from Glen Davis. The Pacers were never able to push the deficit to single-digits until the final minute of play. In their last three games, the Magic have beat two of the better teams in the NBA and lost to the worst. They are attempting to regain their stride with the returns of Glen Davis and E'Twaun Moore. Most people expected the Magic to lose this game, but they played fantastic team ball to secure the victory. Nikola Vucevic posted his eighth-straight double-double 16 points and 15 rebounds. He is finally starting to earn the attention of the national media with his exceptional play.Jameer Nelson and J.J. Redick both went 4-6 from downtown, which kept the berth at double-digits for nearly the entire game. The Magic outscored the Pacers 29-18 in the 2nd quarter and were able to retain the lead the rest of the game. Rookie Andrew Nicholson tied an NBA-record with 6 fouls in the 4th quarter. He and Tyler Hansbrough both received double foul calls twice within 65 seconds. Paul George had a fantastic 20 point/10 rebound double-double, proving that he is one of the better young, up-and-coming players in the NBA. However, the mediocre play of his teammates negated all of his efforts. Roy Hibbert continues to play run-of-the-mill basketball, despite having all of the size and talent to be a dominant force in the NBA. Hibbert was in foul trouble, had a handful of turnovers, and did not assert himself on the offensive end of the court. The Orlando Magic take on the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday and the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. Hopefully, the Magic can prove that they are not just playing to the level of their competition, because the Bobcats are currently 2-24 in their last 26 games, their most recent loss being a 27-point blowout to the team the Magic just beat; the Indiana Pacers. Congratulations to Justin Ecker, who won the Crystal Ball predictions contest, thanks to an exact selection on Nikola Vucevic's rebound total. Stay tuned for another round on Friday!

Magic still keeping ear to the ground in trade market

A lot of fans are on pins and needles waiting to see what happens before the Feb. 21 trade deadline. Roy Hibbert paid Pacers backups $100 each for keeping Bobcats under 80 points

The Indiana Pacers take great pride in their defense, otherwise they would not be ranked 1st in the NBA with only 88.9 points allowed per game. It takes more than just a starting five to play great team defense, and Roy Hibbert wanted to remind the Pacers reserve players of that on Tuesday night by giving them an incentive late in the game. Bench atrocious as Pacers lose to Magic

The official scoreboard read 97-86, but this game was not close from midway through the second quarter. When the game began, it looked like it was going to be an easy night for the Pacers as the starters eased their way to a 15-8 lead. Enter the Pacers reserves and in a matter of minutes the Pacers were staring at a 17-point deficit. They never recovered. This was a nightmarish...

Big Baby Davis Does An Awful Dance After Scoring (Video)

Magic forward Glen “Big Baby” Davis is another one of those different type of cats we talk about from time to time.  Davis is a bit excentric, but getting better as a ball player. During the first quarter of last night’s victory over the Indiana Pacers, Davis did a good job of running the floor last night, and was rewarded for his hustle with a nice dish. From there it got...
