The Magic are reportedly in the running to sign Mavericks forward Brandan Wright, according to Tim McMahon of ESPN Dallas. McMahon reports the Mavericks hope to retain Wright, but the Hawks, Pistons, Raptors and Knicks have also expressed interest in the former eighth overall pick.

He has not quite extended his shooting range and his offensive game is still very raw. He has not quite panned out as the Warriors or Mavericks envisioned. At 25 years old, he still has some room to grow.
