The NBA free agency period officially begins tomorrow, Orlando Summer League begins Saturday, and the Magic have decided to waive guard Doron Lamb while also choosing not to utilize a $1.15 million qualifying offer to retain E’Twaun Moore. However, his contract was completely unguaranteed if waived by July 1st. Lamb will be owed nothing now. The 22-year-old was acquired from Milwaukee in February 2012 in the Tobias Harris-J.J. Redick trade. Lamb was originally expected to participate for the Magic at Orlando Summer League. In 77 total games with Orlando, Doron averaged 3.5 ppg, 1.0 rpg, and 0.7 apg on 39.5 FG% and 41.4 3PT%.
