SALT LAKE CITY – The Jazz has been silenced until the 2012-2013 season.  In the final game of their Western Conference quarterfinals series it was the San Antonio Spurs Manu Ginobli that did them in.

The San Antonio Spurs usual suspects Tim Duncan and Tony Parker each put 11 points  in the pot but it was Ginobili’s 17 points that  were the most crucial. With their sweep of the Jazz, the Spurs have a couple of days to kick their feet up and relax while the Memphis/Clippers series wraps up. It may cost them a few days of chill time but the Spurs most certainly have to be rooting for the Clippers to win as it was Memphis who played the Cinderella role last year and sent them packing in the first round.. The Jazz are a team that could be on the move next year in very competitive Western Conference.  On their way out Al Jefferson scored 26 points and snatched 10 boards.  Derrick favors also double-doubled and came away with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Shaquille O'Neal recently earned his PhD and it seems he is putting his new found knowledge by making a smart choice and is picking the San Antonio Spurs to make this year's NBA Finals along with the Miami Heat. Joey Crawford regrets 2007 incident with Duncan

There are many individuals San Antonio Spurs fans love to hate. The list includes Mavs' Jason Terry and owner Mark Cuban, ex-NBA coach Phil Jackson, Kobe Bryant and many others but also included in that list is NBA referee Joey Crawford. Crawford joined that list in 2007 in a game against the Dallas Mavericks for ejecting Tim Duncan for simply laughing while on the...

With the San Antonio Spurs up 3-0 in their first round series with the Utah Jazz, they have a chance to sweep in tonight's Game 4 in Salt Lake City.Ending the series tonight to not only give the Spurs' older players some extra time to rest before the next series would be beneficial. ESPN hoops writer Israel Gutierrez is the unanimous winner of the inaugural Eye On Sports E.S.P.N. Scouting Game Four: Spurs look to close series vs. Jazz

Over the weekend on the Sports Roundtable powered by Project Spurs, Michael De Leon asked me if I wanted to stay with my sweep prediction for the San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz series, or if I wanted to change my pick. I elected to keep my prediction of a 4-0 sweep by the Spurs over the Jazz, and on Saturday evening, my prediction became one win away from coming true, as the Spurs...
