Tim Duncan and Tony Parker decided to have a little too much fun at a Halloween party this year, and now they are hearing about it from all angles. As you can see from the photo above that was posted on Reddit and quickly made the internet rounds, Parker and Duncan dressed up as characters from “The Avengers” and held fake guns to the head of a person dressed as NBA officiating veteran Joey Crawford. Many people thought the bit was violent and in poor taste. Parker and Duncan were not made available for comment on Monday, but teammate Manu Ginobili didn’t think the costumes were a big deal. “What I know is, it was Halloween,” the Spurs guard according to KABB Fox San Antonio, noting that he attended the party. “If probably somebody dressed as Pop was there, I could have done the same thing with my little sword of Zorro. So I think it was a joke. It was very innocent and they were just probably kidding. I didn’t see it at the time, but nothing to be serious about.” Crawford is one o...

Especially Spurs point guard Tony Parker. He's responded with tough play ever since TV analysts raved about Mike Conley out "Tony Parkering" Tony Parker in the playoffs a few seasons ago...

Tim Duncan Doesn’t Think Controversial Halloween Photo Is A Big Deal

As someone who prizes comfort and privacy, it shouldn’t come as much surprise that Duncan views the leaking of a Halloween picture showing him and teammate Tony Parker holding toy guns to the head of a man dressed as NBA official Joey Crawford (Photo) with a sort of resigned exasperation. “It’s this day and age,” Duncan said. “It was a Halloween party in a private atmosphere...

A new leaked photo has sparked some controversy for an organization that seems to try and stay clear from controversy. The San Antonio Spurs are in the headlines again. A controversial Halloween photo of stars Tim Duncan and Tony Parker holding guns up to the head phony NBA official Joey Crawford. Yes this photo was taken during the Halloween season, but with Mr. Strict NBA commissioner‘s...

Pop praises Duncan

The San Antonio Spurs’ game against the Grizzlies on Saturday was a matchup of two of the top teams in the Western Conference. I do believe in the old saying that you don’t win championships in December, but this was a big game. Winning a hard fought battle in overtime, especially after being down by 13 going into the fourth quarter is going to give the Spurs a lot of confidence...

Matchup of the Game: Spurs vs. Bucks

San Antonio Spurs vs. Milwaukee Bucks matchup of the game comes down to point guards Tony Parker vs. Brandon Jennings In one game of the lock out shortened season, both guards played well when both were on the court together. Spurscast #283: Spurs gone wild

Jeff and I are back with another episode of the Spurscast. In this episode we talk about the latest hot topic after rest-gate, which involves a photo with Tony Parker and Tim Duncan posing with someone dressed up as Joey Crawford at a Halloween Party. While it's making news, Jeff and I both agree that it wouldn't be as big in bigger markets and that the Spurs' choir boy...

Duncan's Youthful Game Catches Gasol's Eye

At 36 years old, you'd think San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan's game would be aging. During the end of the 2010 playoffs, he was described as a "traffic cone" (John Hollinger's words on Twitter).  He looked old, tired, and his game looked diminished to the point where he should retire.  Duncan had another plans though. He's lost plenty of weight...
