As the NBA Trading Deadline passed, another new deadline has emerged. Teams must have their playoff rosters set by March 1st, so any free agents must be picked up this week. The season-long public feud between Stephon Marbury and the New York Knicks could(hopefully) come to an end this week, as the NY Post reports Stephon Marbury and Knicks President Donnie Walsh will meet seperately this week from the scheduled arbitration hearing, in an effort to work out a buyout agreement before their legal hearing.
In other news, the Boston Globe is reporting the Celtics have made an offer for veteran center Mikki Moore. Moore, who will clear waivers and become an unrestricted free agent today, will look to make his decision either today or Tuesday regarding his next NBA home. Other teams reportedly interested in Moore's services include the Cavs, Nuggets, and Heat.
