Marion likely out

Shawn Marion is a "game-time decision, but probably doubtful,'' according to coach Rick Carlisle, who said he's not sure there's any chance Marion will play. As for Tim Thomas, Carlisle will throw him out there. "He's worked extremely hard to get back,'' Carlisle said. "Like Singleton, he's a guy on the team that's got to learn three positions -- three, four and five. Fortunately for him, his basketball IQ is terrific. "As he starts playing games, it's just the start of a process of getting back. But we got to start somewhere.'' --Eddie Sefko
