TEAMS: Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers
The Dallas Mavericks will receive their title rings exactly one week from now, and their owner Mark Cuban is spending quite a bit of scratch on them. Per the Dallas Morning News: “In addition, every other departed member of the championship squad will get his ring at AAC. New Jersey (DeShawn Stevenson ), New York (Tyson Chandler), Denver (Corey Brewer) and the LA Clippers (Caron Butler) all will visit Dallas later in the season for regularly scheduled games. Cuban, by the way, said before Monday’s game with the Los Angeles Lakers that the bill for the championship rings is going to run him about $1.4 million. ‘Ridiculous,’ he said.”
