Well that’s pretty cool. In conjunction with POP Montreal, Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler has teamed up to create a charity basketball game billed as “Pop vs. Jock” and vegetarian three-point specialist supreme Matt Bonner will be taking his talents to Quebec as a player. Wiliam Butler of Arcade Fire and Chris Tomson of Vampire Weekend will also play.
All proceeds from this game will go towards DJ Sports Club, a non-profit charity organization in Montreal’s South-West borough that offers programs in sports and education to youth between 7 and 17 years of age.
