Dallas Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd exited Friday's contest versus the Utah Jazz with a strained right calf. Kidd, 38, played in just two minutes of the 116-101 victory. The severity of his latest injury was not immediately known. Kidd had missed four games with back spasms earlier in the season. The second overall pick of the 1994 draft, Kidd is averaging just 4.1 points and 5.1 assists this season.
