During the summer, Mark Cuban challenged Mavericks fans to design the newest Mavericks jerseys to be worn for the 2015-16 season. We were able to get a sneak peek at several of the designs submitted through the crowdsourcing site crowdSPRING during the summer and everyone seemed impressed with some of the designs. Now, Mark Cuban and the Mavericks have pared the list down to 10 finalists and have asked Mavericks fans to vote on their favorite. The creativity of Mavs fans is amazing,” Cuban said in a press release. “From over a thousand entries, it’s time to pick the Mavs next alternative jersey. Come to mavs.com and vote for your favorite. The winner will be on the court soon! The Mavericks received more than 1,000 entries with 772 coming from crowdSPRING, a crowdsourcing Web site for design for contests like this one. Voting is being conducted on Mavs.com and is open until Oct. 18. The winner will be unveiled Oct. 28 before the beginning of the season. Click after the jump to see our favorite finalists (including the one above): Skyline Jersey: The early leader at the moment by a landslide, this jersey (pictured above) features the Dalas skyline across the current Dallas font with alternating Mavericks blues and then green accents in the alternate. It is reminiscent of the old Nuggets skyline uniforms and the old Sonics logo. Both fan favorites. Basketball Inlay: This one is a little more unique compared to the other ones. It looks like a basketball is designed into the jersey. It looks pretty clean. Although, this does look like the Kevin Durant-era Sonics uniforms before they moved to Oklahoma City. Northwestern Stripe: I am a fan of the Northwestern stripe because I went to Northwestern University. This looks almost exactly like the current Wildcats football jerseys except in Mavericks colors. One warning though, no team has gone with such a big logo across the chest since the cartoonish Rockets and Raptors jerseys of the mid-90s. Be sure to vote for your favorite whichever it might be!
