Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is showing that he can be a nice guy... to other NBA teams, because according to a report, Cuban lent his private jet to the Chicago Bulls, who needed a plane to get to Indianapolis to play the Indiana Pacers last Sunday. As the Bulls were trying to leave O'Hare International Airport [in Chicago] on Saturday night, their charter flight backfired on takeoff and then again once the plane was in the air. The plane safely landed back at O'Hare, but it left the team to borrow planes from the Chicago Blackhawks and then from owner Mark Cuban [below] to get to their game.Apparently a compressor in engine No. 3 had some trouble, which caused the backfired, a source told ESPN.Our plane broke, @mcuban loaned us his, nice guy... lockerz.com/s/286239929— Louis Amundson (@LouAmundson17) March 7, 2013

Mark Cuban lends Bulls the Mavericks plane after mechanical issues

Mark Cuban is one of the most opinionated owners in all of sports. Let’s not sugarcoat it — he’s downright obnoxious at times. However, the Chicago Bulls would tell you that the Dallas Mavericks owner can also be incredibly generous. On Saturday night, the Bulls were flying to Indianapolis for their Sunday game against the Pacers when they had some frightening mechanical issues...

CC video of the day: 'Dirk Dynasty'

I have personally never heard of the TV show "Duck Dynasty" but apparently it is quite popular and has a huge following. So leave it to the Mavericks to jump on the bandwagon and create a spoof on the title of the TV to create the "Dirk Dynasty." In the video, you can see Dirk Nowitzki's mug plastered on cast members including owner Mark Cuban's face...

Report: Paul Pierce Was Nearly A Maverick At Trade Deadline

Though he wouldn’t divulge in details, Mark Cuban stated the day after the trade deadline that the Mavs had numerous deals lined up which could have brought in ‘difference maker guys’ which ultimately fell through.  It’s now being reported that one of those ‘difference makers’ would have been Paul Pierce, but the 3-team (Mavericks, Hawks, Celtics) deal got scrapped by...
