You may not be surprised to know that Tracy McGrady thinks the Miami Heat's 22-game winning streak is less impressive than the Houston Rockets' 22-game winning streak of 2007-08.
McGrady, of course, was on that Rockets team, and on Monday he told ESPN his Rockets accomplished the superior feat.
"I'm enjoying watching because of the unknown," McGrady said. "But the way we did it was a lot harder. Having Yao (Ming) go out (because of injury) around the 12th game and Dikembe (Mutombo) filling his role was huge for our team. And we didn't have three guys making 100 million."
"Impressive" is vague and subjective, which is a good way to start a debate. Certainly the Rockets' 22-game winning streak was more surprising.
