By Jordan Van Beek: Contributor at Hoopstuff
Contract: 1 year, 1.7 million
We all know The Birdman. The man with many tattoos, to go along with the spiked up hair. But you’re not here to read about style, you are here to read about the idea of Chris Andersen resigning with the Miami Heat, with a contract of 1.7 million dollars over just one season.

Summer League may not fit everyone’s NBA palate, but it does give basketball enthusiasts, like myself, a better view of young basketball players that we may have not observed as much in their earlier basketball ventures. Last night there was a firestorm set off around America when George Zimmerman was found not guilty. People all over the country took to social media and let their feelings be known. Most of these feelings were people’s instant reactions and made them look like idiots when they actually aren’t (i.e. Victor Cruz). One athlete bit his tongue though and kept his personal opinion...
Social media star LeBron James won his second championship this past season with the Miami Heat and made it tougher for his doubters to win internet arguments on message boards, social media sites, etc. With all the offseason activity elevating teams into the challenger discussion and summer league basketball getting attention, it’s a good time...Read the Rest...

Pick 50: James Ennis- SG- Long Beach State
- It seemed a little strange that the Heat would trade into the late second round to draft a player that no one would expect to make the roster, but Ennis is a big time scorer, a solid three point shooter and with his athletic talents, he could be a big time defender...

For those Miami Heat fans having dreams of Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo one day in the near future playing in South Beach, the below video might be a bit disappointing for you.
Rondo was speaking at his basketball camp in Louisville, Kentucky last week and was asked about the one NBA team that he would never play for.
Rajon then dropped this truth bomb:
