“Kobe Ball” may be in effect now with Mike Brown fired.credit: blogs.ocweekly.com After a disappointing 1-4 start, Mike Brown’s job has been in question as of late. Well, now, there is no more need to speculate. After acquiring Dwight Howard and Steve Nash in the offseason to join Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol, the Lakers were seen as the favorite to win the title this season by many. Their roster is stacked, and the beginning of their season has been very interesting. Via ESPN, the speculation can now end, as Mike Brown has been fired as coach of the Los Angeles Lakers: Los Angeles Lakers coach Mike Brown has been fired after a 1-4 start to the season, a source tells ESPNLosAngeles.com’s Ramona Shelburne. Sources had said earlier Friday that his job would be in jeopardy if the team did not perform well on its upcoming six-game homestand. It has been a tough ride for Mike  Brown in Los Angeles. The team had a disappointing playoff run last season, despite having Kobe Bryant and two of the best big men in the league. He is now relieved of his duties, but questions still remain. The team had been running a Princeton offense thus far, and has received a lot of criticism for doing so. Their offense will now be dependent on the new coach, whoever that may be. Or, more likely, Kobe-ball will be enforced. The post Mike Brown Fired By Lakers appeared first on Pass The Pill.
