Milwaukee Bucks: Caron Butler Trade Grade
By Mike Elworth: Owner and Publisher
Milwaukee Trade: Ish Smith and Viacheslav Kravtsov
Milwaukee Receives: Caron Butler
Analysis: The Bucks just traded two end of the bench players, for a much needed starting small forward. Butler is far better than anyone currently on the roster at small forward and is a big upgrade over Carlos Delfino, who was expected to start. However, they are receiving more than just a roster upgrade.
Butler is obviously an upgrade at the 3, like previously stated, but Butler is a very nice veteran presence for the Bucks, who can provide leadership to this very young team, whose starting lineup will most likely include, Larry Sanders, OJ Mayo, Brandon Knight and Ersan Ilyasova, who are all 26 and younger and having a solid veteran in there will help. He will also be abl...
