Milwaukee sends rookie Chris Livingston to the Wisconsin Herd
USA TODAY Sports

The Milwaukee Bucks have assigned rookie Chris Livingston to the Wisconsin Herd, the team’s G-League affiliate.

The development was announced by the Wisconsin Herd through its social media platforms. Livingston was the final pick in the 2023 NBA Draft when the Bucks selected him as the 58th pick.

Benchwarmer

The former Kentucky Wildcat has only played two games with the Bucks this season with meager averages of 2.5 points, and 0.5 assists in just 4.5 minutes of playing-time.

Livingston is one of the two players that the Bucks acquired in this year’s NBA Draft.

Milwaukee drafted Andrew Jackson Jr. as the 36th overall pick. Unlike Livingston, Jackson Jr. has been getting ample minutes as he has already played 14 games this season with three starts. Andre is playing 8.4 minutes per contest and is good for 2.1 points, 1.4 rebounds, 0.7 assists, and 0.2 steals per game.

Significant deal

Livingston, a 6-foot-6 forward, may be the last pick in the recent Draft but was able to land a significant contract with the Bucks. It has been reported that Livingston was signed to a four-year, $7.7 million rookie deal with the first two years guaranteed.

The Athletic has reported that Livingston’s deal is a historic one as it contains what is by far the largest total salary for the final pick in any NBA Draft.
