The NBA lottery is always fun to mess around with especially when your favorite team could potentially steal that #1 overall pick! This year the draft is loaded with big guys, kind of like the NFL draft, while sprinkling in some very talented guards and forwards. The following draft order is based on lottery odds and the draft selections are based on team needs. Let us know if you feel a team has different needs and who you would draft instead! With the first pick, in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Orlando Magic select: Orlando Magic Trey Burke Jameer Nelson is not going to be around much longer and he would be a great mentor for Trey Burke.  Nelson will most likely be traded to a contender at some point.Charlotte Bobcats Nerlens Noel I hate this pick because that leaves them with little scoring in the front court, but he is the BPA.  Noel and Biyombo COULD one day become a lethal defense duo.  Doesn't help the Bobcats immediately but long term high ceiling.  I would like to see them grab a more immediate impact player/scorer like a Ben McLemore, Victor Oladipo or Anthony Bennett but no way they pass on Nerlens Noel.Cleveland Cavaliers Victor Oladipo Anderson Varejao will return but this team is lacking depth at the SF/PF positions.  Phoenix Suns Ben McLemore The Suns are a long way away from competing and do not have a go to scorer.  They thought they did in Michael Beasley but that failed.  Shannon Brown was sent to the doghouse and McLemore can play right away.New Orleans Pelicans Otto Porter Greivis Vasquez turned into a top 10 pg last season and Eric Gordon finished the season healthy.  When Gordon and Ryan Anderson are on the bench, the Pelicans have limited scoring options.  Adding Otto Porter or Shabazz Muhammad would help.Sacramento Kings Shabazz Muhhamed The Kings do not have a true SF on the roster that is worth giving playing time and no future prospect there.Detroit Pistons Anthony Bennett Outside of Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond the Pistons are limited.  Anthony Bennett would be a perfect addition to Monroe and Drummond and create one heckuva rotation.Washington WizardsC.J. McCollum We saw the ugly rotation of guards that played and even started while John Wall was nursing his injury.  McCollum wouldn't add any height to an already small backcourt with Bradley Beal and Wall but he is yet another scoring option.  The Wizards are not far away from playoff contention.Minnesota Timberwolves Cody Zeller With Kevin Love's injury history and the fact that Greg Stiesma and Dante Cunningham started a whole bunch of games for the T'Wolves, Cody Zeller would be a nice fit on this Wolves club that is under new management.  With no ties to any current players, this organization is in for a big time make over.Portland Trail Blazers (Bobcats if outside Top 12) Kelly Olynyk Rip City better hope they don't get screwed during the lottery because they need this pick.  However, what they need will be a reach at the #10 so they will have to add depth to their front court, which is also a big need.Philadephia 76ers Gorgui Dieng Dieng could start right away for the 76ers who better not even think about re-signing Andrew Bynum.Toronto Raptors (Thunder if between 4-14) Archie Goodwin The James Harden trade looks terrible at the moment with Russell Westbrook injured, but this draft pick had to be a key reason for the making the deal.  If Kevin Martin doesn't want to sign on as a bench player Archie Goodwin could take Jeremy Lamb's bench warmer role and Lamb could provide the spark off the bench for the Thunder.Dallas Mavericks Jeff Withey Some will argue Mason Plumlee or an International big here but Withey is such a safe pick who can do everything you expect from a big man with above average defensive skills.Utah Jazz Michael Carter-Williams Carter-Williams with Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter for the next 4-5 years?  Sign me up!
