We love Allen Iverson, so any negative news about him is delivered with full resentment. But the rumor is that dude is out of shape, bad.
A source close to AI claims that Iverson’s body would be unable to sustain intense levels of competition, thus preventing him to play for the CBA. The source continues to say that Allen has had little to no training regiment during his time off.
This, is disappointing, to say the least.

When people talk about great scorers what names do you hear? Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Wilt Chamberlain. Yes, I know that list can be debated but the name you don’t hear come up that much anymore is Allen Iverson. Allen Iverson was a born scorer, playing for Georgetown averaged over 22 points a game. Iverson was the NBA scoring champion four different times. He averaged...
STILL BREAKING ANKLES
Full disclosure: I love and miss Allen Iverson; I grew up on AI taking dudes to school. I really feel like that if he were to put his ego aside, and didn’t have the reputation that he does around the league, he could be a valuable asset off the bench for an NBA team. Unfortunately, neither one of those aforementioned problems are going to change, so I will have to settle for getting...
Even in the grand year of two thousand and twelve, Allen Iverson is still crossing dudes over.Check out this clip of A.I. using his killer crossover in a Chinese exhibition game but failing to hit the shot after the cross:(Courtesy of Black Sports Online)
We understand that this is a very small sample size to be working with, but we love seeing flashes of the Georgetown Allen Iverson. A.I. broke a pair of ankles on a Chinese defender during an exhibition game in China recently, and it was glorious. Good to see that he has still got it.

Earlier today, a new video of Allen Iverson began to circulate the web. The video, which captures Iverson using one of his signature crossovers to shed a defender, was recorded in China over the weekend. AI was in China not only participate in an exhibition game between the CBA-champion Beijing Ducks and a group of former NBA All-Stars, but also to negotiate a CBA contract of...
I don’t think many people are in the mood for basketball right now. We’re in midst of playoff baseball and football is in full-swing. It’s really hard to think about hoops. However, I came across two videos yesterday that inspired this post.First, I saw Steve Nash break Jarrett Jack’s ankles in a preseason basketball game vs. the Warriors. Then out of nowhere I saw Allen...
