From Larry Brown Sports:

Andrew Bynum’s health has prevented him from playing this season, but his hair has managed to keep him in headlines.

The Philadelphia 76ers center was spotted watching his team play on Wednesday while sporting the ‘do you see above. I really don’t even know how to describe the thing.

Earlier this season, Bynum was sporting the Don King look.

But this new look? How do you even describe it? Is he going with the Ike Turner cut? Is it an ode to The Beatles? Is it taken from Moe of the Three Stooges?

I think Bynum does this intentionally just to mess with peoples’ heads, kind of like the way he was so insistent on shooting threes with the Lakers. He just likes stirring it up.

Here are other looks at the ‘do:

And courtesy of Beyond the Buzzer, we have the evolution of Andrew Bynum’s hair:

  • Seriously, Bynum is a joke as a player.
He will be bad, as will the sixers, I think the new owner
    is Lurie Jr.

The only thing better than Andrew Bynum’s YOLO fro is Charles Barkley in YOLO fro

TNT’s “Inside the NBA” does some brilliant photoshop work on their shows, but the image above may have topped them all. That’s analyst Charles Barkley sporting the Andrew Bynum hairstyle that’s affectionately been named a “YOLO fro.” So how wore it better? Chuck, or Bynum? I think that’s a good look for Chuck. He should think about getting a wig styled that way...

Andrew Bynum’s Ongoing Injury Provides Opportunity for Jrue Holiday to Emerge as Leader for Sixers

BOSTON — Doug Collins needed a leader, so he marched down his bench and grabbed the player that most closely resembled a leader for the Philadelphia 76ers. Almost forcibly, Collins inserted Jrue Holiday into the fourth quarter of last week’s game against the Celtics, who had cut a 16-point lead to four points. With Holiday at the helm, the Sixers re-established their cushion...

Yankees bench Derek Jeter

Things have hit rock bottom in the Bronx.  In what should be a celebratory month of Derek Jeter‘s career (and potential final postseason appearance), the New York Yankees are just about out of options to make the playoffs.  One last option was exercised today.  Bench Derek Jeter.  Not demote him out of the number two spot.  Not give him a day of rest.  Benched.  The American...
