The Official Tumblr account of the Dallas Mavericks posted some photos of guard O.J. Mayo making an appearance at an Albertson’s grocery store for an autograph signing session.
As you can see above, one clever autograph seeker had the wherewithal to presumably realize an autograph session at a grocery store provided a perfect opportunity to have Mayo sign a tasty condiment that shares his name.
Crazy stuff. But brilliant. Although what’s next? Ben Gordon being asked to sign a box of fish sticks? Steve Nash having to sign an old school skateboard cheap parents would buy an aspiring thrasher at Target? Carmelo Anthony being asked to sign a candy bar?
Wait. That’s Caramello. Completely different.
After the Dallas Mavericks got off to a slow start, again, against the Orlando Magic, they were able to get the lead which of course resulted in getting the win; but again, we have a slow start and in no time found themselves down quickly 6-0 and it even took them over 2:30 minutes to score the first basket. DALLAS (AP) -- Tony Parker missed about a quarter of Friday's game against Dallas after taking three stitches for a cut above the left eye.
It is the same eye that the San Antonio guard almost seriously hurt when he got caught in a bottle-throwing incident last summer.
Parker was injured in a collision with Elton Brand on a drive early in the first quarter. No foul was called...

The Dallas Mavericks have officially crawled out of the terrible category in the NBA. Despite only averaging 13.9 points per game on 41% shooting, Dirk Nowitzki’s return to the lineup and him settling into his standard role has given the Mavs a legitimate on-court identity. With the boost from their superstar, Dallas has improved enough [...]
Chris Kaman isn't a player who usually says controversial things, especially when they're thought to be true for years.
In an interview with DallasNews.com, Kaman said the commissioner of the NBA, David Stern, "hates" the San Antonio Spurs. When he was asked about fans following players over teams, he responded:
“One exception to that is the Spurs...
Delonte West’s stint with the D-League’s Texas Legends will not lead to his return to the Mavericks.
“Not gonna happen,” Mark Cuban said, cutting off any speculation that the Mavs might welcome back West. “That doesn’t mean we don’t like Delonte, care about him as a person, want to help him get back on track…..It’s not worth talking about at this point in time,”...
