LeBron James and his fiancee Savannah Brinson have finally set a wedding date.

TMZ reports that the couple has plans to get married the weekend of Sept. 13-15 in San Diego. Coincidentally, this falls on the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur. TMZ obtained the “save the date” notes sent to invitees (seen above), which depict LeBron, Savannah and their two sons as caricatures.

James and Brinson have been dating since high school. James proposed to his longtime girlfriend at a New Year’s party last year. They have two sons together — LeBron Jr. and Bryce (who were last seen rocking awesome haircuts).

The timing of the wedding announcement might not be coincidental; there were recent rumors that the two were having relationship problems. The rumors stemmed from Brinson’s absence at NBA All-Star Weekend and the Miami Heat’s January visit to the White House. Maybe things aren’t that bad if the two are proceeding with their wedding.

  • Who cares?
  • Why now? Why buy the cow?
  • Because she's not a cow, and he's not "buying" her. I take it you believe in abstinence before marraige. I also take it you practice what you preach.

Minnesota Timberwolves Mascot Beats Up Miami Heat ‘Fan’ in Response to ‘Harlem Shake’ (Video)

LeBron James and his Miami Heat teammates made waves when they performed their version of the Harlem Shake. Now, a rival NBA team is saying, “no mas.” The Minnesota Timberwolves released their answer to Miami’s video on Tuesday, and it’s clear from watching that the Wolves were not as amused with the Heat’s dance moves as Ray Allen, Dwyane Wade and Co. appeared to be. Check...

Heat still unimpressed with streak

LeBron James drove to the rim and scored on Miami's final play, winning a game in memorable fashion and preserving the Heat's winning streak that has lasted for five weeks. Still, the Heat are not impressed by, well, themselves these days. For Miami, 16 playoff wins are the goal - not a 16-game winning streak during the regular season. To the Heat, the regular season is...

Can anything stop LeBron James?

Give up, NBA: LeBron-Wade is NBA's most dynamic duo ever (yes, even better than MJ-Pippen!).

Kobe Bryant May Steal the MVP From LeBron James

All season long the MVP has appeared to be LeBron James's to lose with Kevin Durant destined to come in second yet again. However, if the Los Angeles Lakers make the post season the award needs to go to Kobe Bryant. But FatMan, the MVP is a team award so why should the Lakers playoff future matter? Have you watched these guys play lately? If they make the post season it...

Heat barely escape Magic, win 16th straight

MIAMI (AP) -- LeBron James scored 26 points, including a go-ahead layup with 3.2 seconds left, and the Miami Heat scrambled late to beat the Orlando Magic 97-96 on Wednesday night and extend their franchise-record winning streak to 16 games. Dwyane Wade scored 24 points and Chris Bosh added 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Heat, who blew a 20-point, second-half lead and then rallied...

Lebron James’ Sons Rock Kid n Play Haircuts (Photo)

As an 80’s baby I would’ve never pegged the 90’s as a decade that would be known for fashion with the cross colors, hammer pants, and high top fades that were in style back then. Boy was I wrong. All of these trends have come back with a vengeance. At 28 Lebron James is old enough (although barely) to remember the 90′s hip hop group Kid n Play known for their House Party...

Heat ride 17-game streak into matchup with Pacers

With yet another win in the books, the Miami Heat turned their attention to the streak. And, no, not that 17-game winning one. LeBron James scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Dwyane Wade added 22 points and the Heat pulled away late to beat Philadelphia 102-93 on Friday night - their 12th straight regular-season win over Philadelphia, their 13th in a row at home and most...

Timberwolves Mock Heat’s ‘Harlem Shake’ Video

The Minnesota Timberwolves made a mockery of the Heat’s popular rendition of the “Harlem Shake” that’s already received 31+ million views in the 5 days since it was released. “Some things get old fast” flashes across the screen in Heat styled text as the TWolves mascot, Crunch, is seen beating a dancer dressed in a LeBron James jersey with a bat:

76ers-Heat Preview

The Miami Heat's winning streak continues to grow. While the team insists they're focused on the bigger picture, a home matchup with the struggling Philadelphia 76ers seems to pose little threat to the team's red-hot run. Miami can win its 17th straight game, matching the 12th-longest streak in NBA history and the league's best this season, with a victory over the...

Magic-Heat Preview

While their winning streak has reached franchise-record status, the Miami Heat remain focused on the next challenge and not their latest accomplishment. The Heat can extend their run to 16 games with a 12th consecutive home victory Wednesday night against the lowly Orlando Magic. Dwyane Wade had 32 points with 10 assists while LeBron James shook off a sore left knee for 20 and...

Cheap shot on Nick Foles leads to Eagles-Redskins fight

Tied at 27 early in the fourth quarter, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles threw an ill-timed interception that was returned deep into their territory by the Washington Redskins. The interception was later overturned, but that’s not the story here.  Taking exception to a late hit on Foles, who remained down on the play, the Eagles went blow to blow in a fight with the division...
