Basketball hall of famer, crazy person, and prospective foreign diplomat Dennis Rodman is continuing to wedge himself into American relations with North Korea.  Rodman infamously went on a publicity stunt to North Korea earlier this year and palled around with dictator Kim Jong Un, appearing in public with a man who operates one of the most oppressive governments in the world.  After returning to the states, Rodman has more or less acted as an independent conduit between North Korea and the USA.  Even for Dennis Rodman, this was unexpected. This week, Rodman tweeted that he would hope Kim Jong Un would "do him a solid" and free an American prisoner in North Korea, Kenneth Bae, who has been sentenced to 15 years of hard labor by the regime: I'm calling on the Supreme Leader of North Korea or as I call him "Kim", to do me a solid and cut Kenneth Bae loose. — Dennis Rodman (@dennisrodman) May 7, 2013 Now, via TMZ, Rodman is taking his own brand of diplomacy straight to the top by ripping President Barack Obama himself for his supposed inability to get anything done with North Korea.  Rodman is apparently distressed that Obama can't find it in his heart to get nice and chummy with the dictator.  He told TMZ: "We got a black president that can't even go talk to Kim, how about that one.  I'll put it like this - Obama can't do sh*t." Rodman also claims he's going back to North Korea later this year to talk to Kim Jong Un about freeing Kenneth Bae.  He also claims responsibility for the country removing missles from potential launch positions.  Seriously.  Dennis Rodman, yes, that Dennis Rodman, is taking credit for subduing the threat of war on the Korean peninsula. When getting into his car, a TMZ rep asked about President Obama once again and Rodman replied - "[expletive] him!" During his playing career, I could have imagined Dennis Rodman doing any number of zany things once he decided to end his basketball playing days.  Acting in those God awful original SyFy movies.  Dedicating his life to professional wrestling.  Living in a van out in the wilderness of Alaska to find himself.  Never would I have imagined this world in which Dennis Rodman actually thinks of himself as a foreign diplomat to a country that once earned designation as being part of the Axis of Evil. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a response from President Obama to The Worm, but I look into the future and wonder whether our world is crazy enough to see Dennis Rodman's name included in the history books of our grandchildren and great-grandchildren for his North Korean adventure.  As it stands now, nothing would surprise me. • OMG, I never thought I would see the day when I agreed with anything Dennis Rodman had to say. But he's right about Baraq Osama Bin Laden Obama.
  • Giantsrepeat;
Sad that an idiot can be spotted a mile away. You would believe a 3 legged dog barking if it said anything negative about President Obama. Neither you or Dennis Rodman understand the nature of diplomacy. The President is limited at what he can do because of the position he is in, to do it with. Rodman is a citizen with no power, authority, and responsibility that the presidential office carries. He does not sign his name to a law or a bill that affects the nation and even the world. That's why Rodman can sit with every leader on Earth and say what he wants to whomever. His words carry zero weight. President Obama's words are heavy and can change the course of history. The office of the President of the United States carries the greatest power ever known in human history. President Obama must be thoughtful and mindful of that power. Dennis Rodman only needs to be mindful of what his next meal will be or if he paid his light bill or something. To agree with Rodman says that you are simply a moron going around disrespecting authority, saying what you will, and hiding behind the first amendment of freedom of speech; not reading, studying, forming warped gun toting opinions, and talking about taking over and impeaching the President. OMG
  • Obama is a liar and the worst president ever, your long winded diatribe doesn't change that in my eyes or the eyes of millions of Americans who are fed up with his lame act.
  • you are truely an idiot. you are all thats wrong with this country, and it's not surprising you attach your duma**s to denis rodman, some kardashian like caricature. how can anyone agree with that clown. he like you, arent smart enough to understand not to believe everthing someone says.
  • Howboutthat, if you choose to believe that this liar and poor excuse for a president is the real deal, then go right on believing it. Many who wasted their vote on this clown are realizing it now. Because your too damn stupid to see what a fraud he is doesn't change the fact that he is.
  • 1st, I'm not a Rodman or Obama fan or enemy.

Are we to believe what we arlready assume, the government can't get anything done?

You must understand diplomacy simce you say Crossover Chronicles and Rodman do not. Rodman carries no power yet it's Obama who is powerless?

Obama sign his name to laws that affect the nation and world, Rodman does not, yet it'd Obama that is powerless?

Rodman's words carry no weight, Obama's do. Yet Obama's have no affect?

President carries the greatest power ever known but has to be careful and mindful??? I'm not an Obama fan but we all know the man could sell ice to Eskimos. If he wanted to talk to "Kim" and help to free the person, he would. But he probably has more important things to accomplish that affect massses, rather than just one person. I hope I never need him.

When you have someone in office that continually goes against what working people want, there will be warped views in attempts to lash back. The only part about Rodman that helps this article is that he and Obama are both black. It's at least nice when Liberals can't claim racism. So, instead they'll go with stupidity in Rodman's case. I'm sure he's not that dumb, he made plenty and hasn't spent it all, he's not Tyson.

If Rodman spoke of impeachment, as you suggested, he isn't the first to do so. Nor is he the first with warped gun toting opinions.....Gun shows used to have a very odd mix of people there. Have you been to one lately?, there are very normal people there. And one sign is hung in booths all over claiming, "Obama is the number one gun salesman of the year"!!!!!! Pretty funny.
  • Why does anybody give a Rat's butt what Dennis Rodman has to say about anything other than basketball?
  • [not displayed: comment from locked account]
  • Your right, Rodman doesn't know a damn thing about politics. He's a freak, always has been. But obama is still a horrible excuse for a president. Many in the military who wanted to do careers in the service are getting out because of obama. They too are ashamed to have to call him Commander in Chief, and rightfully so.
  • Giantsrepeat, I would not say that Rodman does not know a damn thing nor would I state that President Obama is a horrible excuse for a president. Let's get a few things straight.

The country was in an uproar long before President Obama became a president. We have had the pleasure of knowing President Ronald Regan, President Nixon, President Bush Sr. and Jr. and that is just to name a few. Their characters spoke volume and their body language spoke just as much volume as their character. Can you honestly say what the previous presidents have stirred-up, fixed-up or left undone for the next person to take on their shoulders and undo?

Or do you think that you could do a better job in office? This is just a question. Yes...freedom of speech happens all day long and that is a plus for us. I am sure being a president is not a cake walk. So for that reason and many other reasons my hat goes off to President Obama. And lets not forget the others.

People hate President Obama because of his skin color. Seriously Though! If people think of a person that way then their mature level is bleak even if they were raised that way.

As far as for Dennis Rodman, a man of a different character for sure. I have not agreed with some of the things that Dennis Rodman, has said or done in his past or present state. But the man was one heck of a basketball player using his distraction tactics on the court. His way is different and we really cannot say what he knows or what he does not know.

Bizzel, stated that Rodman's words does not carry any weight. We do not have a clue as to what Rodman's words may carry. Rodman is not as stupid as many may think. Who's to say that Rodman does not know anything about politics? One thing I noticed about him he was clever on the court and does one seriously think that; that type of behavior does not carry over into to his lifestyle?

    Closing:

President Obama is our President of the United States of America and opinions will always come but I still think that just as one respects another he too should be respected.

As far as for Dennis Rodman, he is who he is and he does what he does. It would not be Rodman if he did not do what Rodman does.

People are going to be people, leaders are going to be leaders and opinions will always fly.
  • I don't hate Obama because of the color of his skin. I judge someone by the content of their character. I just feel Obama is a terrible president. And I completely agree with your opinion of President Ronald Reagan, President Nixon and President Bush Sr. and Jr., and I will ad Jimmy Carter to that list as well. I don't trust Obama and I was appalled when he had the gall to apologize to Mexico by saying that the US was responsible for all their problems. That was a disgraceful act on his part. Only Mexico is responsible for what Mexico is, not the US. How dare he apologize for the country I Love and stood ready to die for, he had no right to do that.
  • Why are you, the contributing editors/writers giving Dennis Rodman all this attention? Dennis Rodman has as much knowledge about World Policy/politics as a smashed cockroach. He is an embarrassment to all Americans and nor does he speak/represent Black Americans Just ignore him PLEASE.
  • please don't compare our president to this fool.and have some respect for our president.he knows how to speak english, and cool.and classy and four more years baby!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Obama aint black.
  • Whatever, President Obama is he is still a man of leadership. I do not believe that any of us is black. Look at the color of a black suit or black shoes. I do not believe that any one is white, look at a white pair of socks, or a white shirt. We all are people of color and although not the same it still is something different and beautiful. So the next time you say black think, or the next time you say white think. We are the human race and we all bleed the same if we are cut. So we really do need to stop tripping about the lesser things in life and focus on the bigger things that have sustains and meaning.

    Have a Wonderful Day Everyone!

Van Gundy rips Bulls management about Thibs

After catching fire near the end of December—winning seven straight games—the Chicago Bulls hoped that momentum would carry over into the new year. But that hasn’t been the case, with the team posting a mediocre 7-6 record in January thus far. As a result, head coach Tom Thibodeau has received some criticism from the media—but is it warranted? ESPN analyst Jeff Van Gundy...
