From Ride the Pine:

Kobe Bryant was having some fun with No. 1 draft pick, member of the USA Men’s Basketball team and reigning "King of The Unibrows," Anthony Davis, as they were wrapping up their time in London for the 2012 Summer Olympics.  Kobe snapped this picture of Davis and Armenian wrestler Gadzhimurad Nurmagomedov, who also has an impressive unibrow, and posted it to his Facebook Page with the caption, “Battle of The unibrow!!! Who Wins???”

This contest is easy ... no one wins -- they have unibrows.

But if you really had to force me to pick a winner, it's obviously this wrestling dude.  That thing is as thick as a mustache.

Vanessa Bryant: Winning important

In a recent interview, Vanessa Bryant stated that she would have no interest being married to a pro athlete incapable of consistently winning championships.

Picture: Kobe Bryant gets in on the Unibrow joke bandwagon

Anthony Davis has a gold medal before he even plays in his first NBA game, but that doesn’t mean he’s above the rookie treatment. Just look at this picture Kobe Bryant posted on Facebook:

Unibrow Challenge: Anthony Davis or Random Guy at Olympics

As long as Anthony Davis is playing in the NBA, we’ll be sure to hear a lot about unibrow pride. Here is the first unibrow challenge that Kobe posted on his facebook page today. In this case, I think the other guy wins this challenge. It’s good to see that Anthony Davis is embracing what some would consider a cosmetic flaw.No doubt there will be a unibrow contingent at every Hornets...

Will Kobe Finish His Basketball Career In Europe Or China?

Even for someone who has encountered so much success, since entering the Association back in 1996, this had to have been a very special week for Los Angeles Lakers All-Star guard Kobe Bryant. Sunday, “The Black Mamba” knocked down 17 points, in what he claims is his final Olympic game as Team USA won their second consecutive Gold Medal in basketball, defeating a very tough Team...

Battle of the brow!!

While at the London Olympics Kobe Bryant found someone with an even worse eyebrow situation than teammate Anthony Davis and posted this picture on Facebook with the message, “battle of the unibrow.” Apparently people Kobe Bryant’s age still use Facebook. Gotta wonder who many girls are getting “poked” by Kobe. For the Record: plucking is so easy

Kobe Bryant calls Andrew Bynum ‘nothing’

There is only one NBA player for the last several years that hasn’t been afraid to give his opinion on his teammates, and that is Kobe Bryant. Kobe has been the Alpha ever since Shaq was shipped out-of-town from the Los Angeles Laker. Without remorse, Kobe says what he wants about teammates, coaches, management, or [...]

U.S. Basketball's Scare Against Spain Shows Gains Made by Rest of World, Not America's Weakness (Video)

The 2012 version of the Dream Team won gold, but just barely. LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and Co. needed every bit of star power they had to overcome a tough Spain team in the gold medal game 107-100. While the comparisons to the 1992 Dream Team that ran roughshod over its competition in Barcelona may persist, this year's road to the final game revealed a much different...

U.S. Beat Spain, win gold in men's basketball

The United States men's basketball team defended its title on Sunday pulling away from Spain in the final minutes for a 107-100 victory.   The U.S. had to battle to the final whistle, just like in 2008 to win the gold medal at the London Olympic Games.   Kevin Durant scored 30 points and LeBron James added 19.  James joins Michael Jordan as the only players to win an NBA...

We noted earlier that former WWE talent AW spoke with CTPost.com about his release and says he was fired for last week’s Linda McMahon tweet. In an interesting tidbit from that interview, he revealed that he received a phone call last Friday from WWE executive Jane Geddes informing him of the release. This shows that Geddes is now handling the departures. Previously that was a...
