MINNEAPOLIS The Minnesota Timberwolves announced their 2012-13 schedule on Thursday, which will open with a Nov. 2 matchup at the Target Center against the Sacramento Kings. The Timberwolves will be featured on national television 14 times next season, the most since they appeared 19 times in 2005-06. Seven of those games will take place at the Target Center. They will also appear on TNT three times: Dec. 20 against the Thunder, Jan. 17 against the Clippers and Feb. 28 against the Lakers. Some of the biggest home games will come Feb. 1 and March 27 against the Lakers, March 4 against the Heat, Dec. 20 and March 29 against the Thunder and on March 24 against the Bulls. The Timberwolves' increased national exposure comes after a 2011-12 season in which the team averaged an attendance of 17,491, its highest since 2003-04.
