NBA D-League's Dakota Wizards Acquire Mike Hall

On Wednesday, the Washington Wizards' D-League affiliate, the appropriately named Dakota Wizards, acquired Hall from the available player pool after all 16 teams passed on claiming the 6-foot-8 combo-forward off waivers. Hall will create a trio of NBA-caliber combo-forwards in Dakota's front court, joining two other recently-acquired players on the D-League's current cellar dweller. DeMarre Carroll, who was just assigned to the Wizards by the Memphis Grizzlies Tuesday, and Walter Sharpe, the 32nd overall selection in the 2008 NBA Draft, are both probably best physically-suited to play the small forward in the NBA, though currently have more of a power forward feel to...
