In just a few hours, NBA free agency will officially begin. Two LA free agents who occupy opposite sides of Staples Center figure to garner a lot of attention. Dwight Howard is expected to meet with the Rockets at 9:01 PM Sunday night. And if the rumors are true, expect general manager Daryl Morey, coach Kevin McHale, owner Les Alexander, current Rockets, James Harden and Chandler Parsons, plus Hall of fame center Hakeem Olajuwon. Other teams expected to make presentation to DH in the next two days; the Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors and Lakers. Rockets will get first free agency crack at Dwight Howard with meeting Sunday in LA, shortly past 9 PM PST, league sources tell Y! Sports. — Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) June 29, 2013   Down the hall, Chris Paul’s people are reportedly telling teams to not bother pitching CP3 because he’ll be re-signing with the Clippers. As I stated a few weeks ago, Chris seems to enjoy LA and his status here. Over the weekend he and his wife Jada visited Raging Waters water park. The couple have stuck close to LA this off season hitting up Hollywood premieres and hosting charity galas. Plus the Clippers now how a championship caliber head coach in Doc Rivers, CP3 will be in the building for the next few years.   Chris Paul’s representatives have told teams the point guard will re-sign with the Clippers. — SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) June 30, 2013   photos via Instagram
