The only winners in the NBA lockout are overseas basketball leagues Many NBA players are going to overseas to play this winter as the lockout drags on, making these foreign leagues stronger. And it’s a natural fit because David Stern’s league is very popular outside of the U.S.
Coming off a year of record television ratings, the league had a lot of popular momentum going for it. But that’s all been squashed now, as the other nations are currently laughing at the predicament in America.
