Found October 31, 2012 on With Leather:
Last night marked the beginning of the 2012-13 NBA season, and it started pretty much the same way that I assume next season will begin – with the Miami Heat raising a banner. But I’ll save my season predictions for tomorrow and just stick to the highlights of what we saw in last night’s three games starting with the obvious – Steve Nash, WTF?The Los Angeles Lakers point guard showed up to the Staples Center looking rather geeked up for his Hollywood debut, and he did not disappoint. Wait, yes he did. In fact, everyone on the Lakers except for Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol disappointed in one way or another. Scores, thoughts and bright, shining moments after the jump.Dallas Mavericks 99, L.A. Lakers 91The Mavericks had a lot of us laughing yesterday when it was announced that Eddy Curry would be the team’s starting center, because that’s hilarious. However, the big man only played 17 minutes and the Mavs – who are without Dirk Nowitzki for a while – were led by Darren Collison’s 17 poin...

Steve Nash your in LA now, style is a must, seems like the superstar point guard got the message as he showed up for his Lakers season opener vs the Dallas Mavericks last night in chic preppy ensemble. I was watching ESPN First Take this morning where they were getting on Steve about his “Hollywood Haircut” but his choice of attire made the perfect complement. For game night...

Nash doubtful for game vs. Clippers on Friday

The Lakers have listed point guard Steve Nash as doubtful for their game against the Clippers on Friday night because of a lower-leg contusion. "I hope so. We'll see if it calms down some more," said Nash about playing in the game, after he missed practice Thursday. "I'm a little too optimistic to say doubtful. It's definitely touch and go." Nash...

Steve Nash has a small fracture in his left leg and will be out of the Los Angeles Lakers' lineup for at least another week. The Lakers announced the results of the point guard's MRI exam Saturday. Nash got hurt in a collision with Portland rookie Damian Lillard on Wednesday night. He missed the Lakers' 105-95 loss to the Clippers on Friday night, dropping the Lakers...

17 Best NSFW Black Guys Jumping Off The Steve Nash Bandwagon Tweets

Steve Nash has a bruised leg, the Lakers are 0-2 after losing last night to Portland and the projected 82-0 perfect season is just a memory.  You know what this means? Black guys on Twitter officially lost their minds last night as Nash was getting smoked by the Trailblazers PG Damian Lillard. Remodeled Suns eager to prove their worth

PHOENIX With Steve Nash no longer on board as their flotation device, the Phoenix Suns are cruising into the 2012-2013 season accompanied by not-so-great external expectations. Lakers game day fashion; Kobe, Steve, Dwight

The Lakers dropped their season opener to Dirk-less Dallas Mavericks ::sad face:: but was their fashion on point? Steve Nash showed up for his first game with the Lakers complete with a pink sweater and bow tie. While Dwight utilized pink as an accent and even rocked a plaid vest. Kobe opted for classic styling [...]

Steve Nash's Bruised Knee, Kobe Bryant's Strained Foot Are Hardly Reasons Enough to Bury Lakers Already

We do not come to bury the Lakers. We do not quite come to praise them, either. Now that everyone knows the Lakers are not going to go 82-0, the most popular NBA parlor game has become dismissing their championship hopes entirely. To be sure, their start has been awful, both on paper and on the court. Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard entered the season with injuries concerns and...
