The Atlanta Hawks seemed to be feverishly shopping forward Josh Smith as the NBA trade deadline approached. However, the Hawks nixed a deal yesterday that would have sent Smith to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for multiple players and a draft pick, according to Ric Bucher of CSN Bay Area.According to Bucher, the Hawks would have received Ekpe Udoh, Luc Mbah Moute, Beno Udrih and a protected No. 1 pick in exchange for Smith. He adds that Milwaukee was surely aggravated by the lack of a deal, considering the time and effort they spent attempting to have one take place. Now, Smith will remain with the Hawks who will see if they can do better this summer. However, following the passing of the trade deadline, a report was released that said Smith is “highly unlikely” to re-sign with Atlanta. Smith’s intentions to sign elsewhere this summer make it clear as to why no team was willing to overwhelm the Hawks at the deadline.Follow @hoopsinjurynews!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://www.nbainjurynews.com//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-34100676-1']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ?
