Melo was literally on fire last night, he was engulfed in flames and everything, going off for a career high tying 50 points on 18 of 26 shooting (7 of 10 from three), and really nothing else (2 rebounds, 2 assists), but he had 0 turnovers, making him the only player in 5 years to score 50 without a single one of those silly mishaps. Also if you look at his shot chart, he did not score a single shot in the paint, which is super weird, or amazing. Carmelo Anthony Gets No Respect

A few nights ago Carmelo Anthony dropped 50 points on the Miami Heat (minus LBJ, D-Wade) and last night he dropped 40 on Atlanta, but know one in the league mentioned it. Yea a short media bite on ESPN and NBATV, but in the end this was not nearly as mentioned in the same breath the way Stephen Curry’s 50+ night was at MSG. Why is this this? Why does Melo not get the respect and...

Photo: Steve Novak Lost A Bet To Carmelo Anthony, Had To Wear Orange Warm-ups

Of course, Anthony made sure there were pictures of the occasion, as he posted them to his Instagram account...

The Oklahoma City Thunder are fighting for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. Kevin Durant is currently leading the NBA in scoring, but his top priority is getting back to the NBA Finals and erasing the feeling of falling a few games short of an NBA championship. Carmelo Anthony is hot on his heels for the scoring crown, but Durant doesn’t seem concerned about it. “He...

J.R. Smith Named Eastern Conference Player of the Week

By Aaron Kopperl Despite the presence of stars LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Deron Williams, and even our own Carmelo Anthony, J.R. Smith was able to outplay each one of them and stand out among the pack as the NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week.  While it may not sound like much of an achievement, it speaks great volumes to J.R.’s superior style of play as of late where he...
