The NBA released lineups yesterday for next Saturday’s Sprite Slam Dunk Contest and Foot Locker Three-Point Contest. This year, for the first time ever, contestants in these events, along with contestants in the Taco Bell Skill Challenge and Sears Shooting Stars Competition, will score points for their conference. (I’m impressed with the NBA’s ability to secure a different sponsor for each event.) At the end of the night either the Eastern Conference, behind captain Dwyane Wade, or the Western Conference, behind captain Chris Paul, will have won All-Star Saturday. TNT will have live coverage from Houston of all All-Star Saturday events on February 16 starting at 7:00 p.m. Central (8:00 p.m. Eastern). Here are the lineups. (Pity the Milwaukee Bucks who, despite being a probable playoff team, not only have no All-Stars but also have no participant in any of the All-Star Weekend activities.)
