Of all the rookie hazing and all the pranks we see across professional and collegiate athletics, the popcorn in the car gag has to be one of the worst. As you can see from the photo above that Deron Williams tweeted, Nets rookie MarShon Brooks recently fell victim to the mother of all car pranks.
Below is a photo of MarShon looking pretty flustered about the whole thing, but I highly doubt he took it as hard as Kenyon Martin did when his teammates did the same to his car a couple years back.
Instead of ruining the interior of the rookie’s car, the Nets could have always done Deron Williams tweeted” target=”_blank”>something like this that doesn’t leave as much permanent damage. Such is life as a rookie in sports.

Consider Madison Square Garden on watch.
Luring the Nets from New Jersey was only Step 1 in Brooklyn's metamorphosis into an entertainment hot spot. Next up for the borough, a ruthless bid in stealing the spotlight and the stars from MSG, New Jersey's Prudential Center, and any other venue that books boldface names in music and sports.
There's a new kid in town, folks...

It’s sort of an inmate/dominatrix crossover…..I’m not sure.
But I think I like it. What do you all think?
Former San Antonio Spurs player Ime Udoka will be back in the silver and black this coming season, though he won’t be dawning the typical Spurs jersey fans are accustomed to seeing him wear. Instead he’ll most likely be wearing a Spurs polo or some sort of business suit.
In an entertaining piece by Ken Rodriguez for Spurs.com, Rodriguez explains how Udoka made the decision...
