Reggie Evans wins this weekend’s Toughness Award.
The Nets’ forward took a hit to the mouth in Saturday’s game against the Bobcats, lost a tooth in the process, and kept going up for the rebound. Evans continued playing until the next dead ball, when he walked off the court to have the blood cleaned up by trainers so he could keep playing.
Broadcasters Ian Eagle and Jim Spanarkel confirmed Evans had lost a tooth when he casually placed it on the table in front of them.
Evans finished the win with 14 points and 20 rebounds.
Check out the play in the video below.

Brooklyn Nets center Reggie Evans is known for banging around in the paint and being a good rebounder. It just so turns out that in the Nets game against the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday night, that banging around resulted in Evans losing a tooth. More interesting is the fact that Evans ran down the court and continued to play defense despite the loss tooth. Much respect....
Reggie Evans had his tooth knocked out by Bobcats’ Michael Kidd-Glichrist during the third quarter of Saturday night’s game. Evans didn’t flinch as he placed the tooth on the scorer’s table right in front of the Nets announcers, stopped the bleeding with a towel and jumped back into the game en route to a 14 point, 20 rebound performance.

Deron always seems to have massive performances against the Bobcats, unsurprisingly
Due to some prior commitments, I wasn't able to watch much of tonight's game (bits and pieces of the first half and like the last four minutes), so I don't really have any non-box-score conclusions to make. All I know is that D-Will took over late, making it his responsibility...
