There is a new set of Milwaukee Bucks dancers. Or should I say a new set of Milwaukee Bucks “cheerleaders.”
In high school us men always called both the cheerleaders and the pom pons “cheerleaders.” Or the dance team as “cheerleaders.” We guys are too intellectually lazy to distinguish between the two. We know this is offensive and wrong. But we’re too simplistic and narrow-minded to learn the difference.
As adults, nothing as changed. The “Energee!” the Bucks dance team will now be known as the “Milwaukee Bucks Dancers.” The new name was announced at the conclusion of the squad’s Live Audition Finale show Thursday evening.
But we’re too lazy to learn the difference. The Milwaukee Bucks Dancers will be led by second-year Dance Team Manager Trisha Crawford.
The name change to the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers is part of a larger re-branding of the Bucks fan experience this season. The Milwaukee Bucks Dancers is a squad dedicated to entertaining Milwaukee and Wisconsin.
