Julia Hansen/Iowa City Press-Citizen / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Indiana Pacers have successfully erased the New York Knicks‘ two-game series lead in their second-round encounter in the 2024 NBA Playoffs. The Pacers took both games at home, winning Game 3 last Friday, 111-106, and Game 4 last Sunday, 121-89. With the Pacers leveling the series at 2-2, their fans are left feeling tremendous about Indiana’s chances of completing the comeback by winning the series.

Pat McAfee Wants the Indiana Pacers to Take Care of Business Against the New York Knicks

Among those who want to see the Pacers continue their success against the Knicks the rest of the way is no other than former Indianapolis Colts special teams star Pat McAfee, who watched Game 4 live at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. After the game, McAfee ran into Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle and further motivated Indiana with a supportive message.

“Hey, keep kicking a--,” the podcast superstar told Carlisle.

The Pacers have serious momentum now heading into Game 5 back in New York. Their offense is clicking and they are also taking full advantage of the banged-up Knicks, who are missing some important players, including Mitchell Robinson and OG Anunoby.

Tyrese Haliburton led Indiana in Game 4 with 20 points to go with six rebounds and five assists, while five other Pacers scored at least 10 points, including TJ McConnell, who gathered 15 points to go along with 10 dimes off the bench.

Game 5 of the Pacers-Knicks series will be on Tuesday back at the Madison Square Garden, where Indiana lost in the first two games of the series.
