There are risks when it comes to Smith, as he has an enigmatic personality, does not have the best reputation when it comes to behavior and his penchant for poor shooting selection, hurts his team at times, but few players can bring offense off of the bench at the level of Smith. They were smart not to overpay and they could not let Smith get away, as he is too important to their offense, so the fact that he received basically the same contract as Kyle Korver is actually amusing, as Smith is on another level.
